IT Software Release Supervisor

For our Milan offices we are searching for an IT Software Release Supervisor.

Working closely with the other members of the international team, the IT Sw Release Manager, reporting to the Head of Software Development, will be responsible for the code review and for the execution of the software deployment plan.

The position reports to the Software development director.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• To schedule internal meetings to discuss the release plan with the teams and find eventual roadblocks
• To schedule, plan and control the software deployment process accordingly with the group plan and coordinating between teams
• To test, document and propose improvements to the release process
• To track all the releases and give weekly updates to the stakeholders
• To dialogue with internal and external clients to understand their needs

Skills and experiences:

• 3 years’ experience in a similar position with a clear track record in programming
• Master’s degree in information technology or similar fields
• Good functional analysis experience
• Excellent Knowledge of: Vue.js; Typescript; Java 8 (no JEE nor EJB); Spring Boot (Spring Web; Spring Data/JPA; Spring Cloud; Spring Security; Spring Oauth2); RESTful API + Json and Soap API ; Jenkins, Maven; Junit; RedHat Openshift or Kubernates; Gitflow.
• Knowledge of one or more of the following db and framework will be highly appreciated: MongoDB; Cassandra; PostgreSQL; MySQL; Redis; Rabbit MQ; AWS; Kibana, Elasticsearch.
• Knowledge of micro-services based infrastructure
• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
• Excellent mastery of written and spoken English
• Ability to solve problems effectively and efficiently
• Structured approach, process oriented, multi-tasking and ability to prioritize
• Willing to learn showing enthusiasm for technology with a proactive attitude
• Exceptional interpersonal skills including the ability to interact professionally in a multi-cultural environment and great team work attitude
